Gaby's Bridal Shower

My colleague Gaby is getting married next month!
As one of her bridesmaid, we decided to throw her a surprise bridal shower.
Had been planning for this day since a month ago.
Although the participants were all colleagues that we see everyday, it was so difficult to discuss and make decisions.

We decided to do it in the afternoon without having to overnight as most of my colleagues are already mummies.
Mummies cannot sleepover therefore we chose high teas.
Thought of doing it in a cafe or a hotel buffet but I am so glad we did it in a karaoke room because we made so much noise!
Don't think we can do it in an open area.

So we all decided to do it at Redbox Karaoke, Gardens where the fake plan was a Karaoke session with just 2 other colleagues.
I had earlier texted Gaby's fiance to bring to MV and ditch her after food. :P

I arrived at MV around 12 and my oh my.. the parking was already full on P1 and three quarter of P2.
Since I was running late, I drove straight to P3 and found a parking.
Meet up with 3 of my other colleagues to touch up on the decorations abit while having our early lunch at DOME.

Thank you, Evelyn for treating us !

After our lunch, we split into groups and continue our mission.
Me and Evelyn went to get the room to start decorating while the other two went to get helium balloon.

My simple yet hardwork!
I did it very last minute that's why. Everything from scratch with limited budget and materials.

Behind the scene:

With Dato' Lee Chong Wei match ongoing.
But no, I didn't watch it 😟
Don't have time to spare!!

Us decorating before the bride to be arrived.

Then a short briefing on our plan before i go out to pick her up.
(Or as she thought I was just meeting her up :P)

Everything is ready!
Just waiting for her grand arrival!!

My cute colleagues waiting for me to bring her in :)

Naughty cupcakes of the day!😉

Her pressie and tiara for today !:D
Looking at all these pictures reminded me exactly how excited I was that day.

The surprise was a success!!
Look at her shocked face :D

We then proceeded to putting the tiara on her and revealing her gifts to her one by one.
Well, needless to say we bought her 4 sets of SEXAY lingerie with a robe that says Bride Gaby.

Phototaking before we proceed.

After all the gifts were presented, we invited the groom to be to join us for a game called Mr and Mrs Quiz.

We asked both of them questions (mostly about the bride) and made them write down their answers to see how well the groom understands her.

Ended the game with a sweet message for one another.
It's sweet and touching, all of us went awwwwww..
Teary eyed because they were just the sweetest couple I have ever met.

The groom left after the game and we had our high tea session while karaoke-ing.
Had so much fun screaming our lungs out.
This is my first time singing in front of them as well.
Was shy but it was so fun with them, I couldn't care much even if I couldn't sing XD

It was a sweet and fun surprise and I am very happy that she enjoyed it very much.
Wishing this couple a wonderful marriage and stay loving till the end of time.

AND MY FAVOURITE PICTURE OF THE DAY ! :)

Esther's Belated Birthday Celebration

It's a girl's day out, today.
Planned by yours truly and Cynthia!

Our outing starts at 1.30pm where I pick Esther and meet Cynthia at our secret location!
We kept it a secret from Esther although she has been asking about the plans.
Hehehe.

We bought her a facial package.
Well, we bought each of us one facial package to do it with her.

We did our facial together in a room like tai tais. Hahahaha.
Chatted all the way ignoring the beauticians there.
We only stopped talking when they applied masks on us where they covered our mouth too.
Must be we too noisy dy.
Hahaha.

After facial, our hair were so flat we had to go back to Cynthia's house to wash our hair.
Saw baby coming home, so I got a towel from him to wash my hair.
Hehe.
Don't have to trouble Cynthia to wash the towels.

While waiting for Cynthia, we played with my phone apps.

Was supposed to have dinner but I have to leave because his family changed their plan to celebrate his father's birthday dinner that night.

So we quickly went out for our high tea.
High tea in Kemaman Station. Hahaha.

My girls are so pretty.

Happy birthday to my childhood friend.
May you stay cute and young.
Always be healthy and happy.
Faster get a good boyfriend who can take good care of you and love you.

But anyhow, you will always have our love.

LOVE YOU MUCH!!

Two Deaths in Two Days

On Wednesday night, I received a text from my aunt informing me that my Granduncle (my paternal grandfather's youngest brother) has passed away.

Although personally, I am not very close to him or his family, my dad are quite close to them.
So I felt the need to be present at his wake.
My last respect for him.
That's the only thing I could do now.

On Thursday afternoon while I was at work, baby texted to inform me that his grandma has left us.
Immediately I have to make arrangement to attend both wakes.
One is held in KL whereas the other one in Ktn.
Thankfully, the one in KL will be for 5 days and the one in Ktn is 3 days.
It's considered difficult for me to make arrangement because I worry my parents, my extended family or his parents will be unhappy if I made an inappropriate arrangement.
But anyways, I then decided to take half day emergency leave on Friday to go over to my granduncle's wake before I leave to go back for the bf's grandma's wake.

Thursday night, I went over to Xiao En Centre in Cheras for my granduncle's wake.
Left office around 730-740pm.
What we did there was this.

Writing the prayers out.
Of course I don't know mandarin or what it meant but I do it sincerely.
Stayed there until around 1030pm before I drove home alone.
Scariest part is that I was driving of on unfamiliar roads and waze brought me into housing areas. One of the road was closed and I got to detour based on my own estimation.
Was dead tired by the time I reach home.
Bathed and quickly went to bed as I had to wake up early for work the next day.

Woke up feeling like a zombie on Friday and went to work.
Had a cup of Caramel Macchiato with Gaby for breakfast to start of my long day.
Was getting ready to leave office at 1pm when I received a call.
Supposed to meet up with the parents at the centre but they gave me a heartache!!

Halfway traveling down to KL, the car broke down.
Thank goodness they met my aunt's bro who fetched them to me.
The car will be another issue to solve.
Sigh.
 One after another.
So I waited for my parents to reach and fetch them to the centre.
By 4pm, I drove home to get ready to travel back to Kuantan.

The bf's brother came to pick me after work and off we left for Kuantan.
Arrived around 10.30pm and I only went home at 1.30am.
I was so tired, I wasn't responding much already.
I came home but my parents are in KL attending granduncle's wake.

I wanted to attend the burial ceremony but baby said that it is not necessary so I stayed home.
I wasn't sure if it's appropriate for me to not show up when I'm back.
I kept asking if he is sure that I don't have to be there but he insisted.
I didn't sleep well the first night back home maybe because I was too tired but I wasn't comfortable.

Baby promised to accompany me the second night.
We went for dinner with his extended family since everyone is back here.
And the adults have issues to discussed after the dinner, so we younger adults thought that we should have our own gathering.
Off we go to 90 degrees.

Had lots of fun laughing and joking with each other.
It's been a very long time since I gathered with his maternal cousins.

After the coffee session, I thought baby forgot that he was supposed to stay over with me.
Cos the route he used is the way to my house.
During that journey, my anger was building up already because I thought he really forgot what he promised but nope.
In the end, he went pass my house and straight to his house.
Hehehe.
Packed his stuff and he came over to accompany me for a night.

When we are both in our hometown we don't really stay over at each other's place because we stay not far from each other actually. So time spent together is really precious for me.

But I'm so happy that he kept his promise :)

A Happy Week

Last week was a very productive week spent with him.

I managed to live the life that I had been imagining since a long time ago.

Nowadays, he would come every other weekend and stay here for one week.
So I get to spend half a month with him averagely.

Things we did this week (5/6/2016 to 12/6/2016):

Sunday

Our salad dinner one night just because we wanna eat a little more healthier.
For someone who doesn't take vegetable, he is taking a big step to have salad as a meal.

Monday

He had event so I only got to see him awhile before I leave to work in the morning and when he return home at 1.30am.

Tuesday

Dropped me off at work and picked me up to have dinner in pavilion together.
I just love it when he offers to fetch me to work in the morning.
Only happens when he doesn't have morning meetings.
Felt so loved that he is willing to wake up early when he can actually sleep in,
just to send me to work.

Wednesday

Came home early to jog with my precious one.
If he is interested to lose some weights, I'd surely support him with all I can.
We only managed to brisk walked for 7 rounds before my tummy start alerting me that it is hungry. Its okay.
7 rounds for a start is good enough.
At least we start somewhere.

I was craving for the Thai Tea from Boat Noodle so we went to Publika.

This is the Thai Iced Tea that I super love!
RM6.90

The food here is rather limited.
There are two kinds of noodle and two kinds of sauce.
We can have them either with beef balls or chicken.

So baby and I ordered one each.

Verdict: So-so only.
Maybe I'm not used to such flavors but I dare say that any stalls by the road side that I've tried in BKK beats this anytime.
I noticed the branch in Avenue K has more crowd so maybe the quality there is slightly different? That I can only confirm after I tried their avenue k's branch.
But I can assure you that avenue k's branch makes better Thai Iced Tea.

I like their omelette rice though!
Super yummy.
Much better than their boat noodles.

Super happy to finally get to try Boat Noodle.
Although I may never go back for their food, I definitely will go back for their Thai Iced Tea.

Thursday

Went to Seapark for this Nasi Lemak Bumbung.
Saw a video on Facebook that shows the top 5 nasi lemak that we should try in Klang valley.
So we decided to try this.
It's located in an alley like area.
Not a proper restaurant.
When we arrived, it's around 8 plus already.
Service was super fast.
We sat down, ordered two nasi lemak ayam with one limau ais.
2 mins later, our food came.
So fast!
The crowds kept coming too.
People just come, sit, eat and leave.
They are not many empty tables around even with the speed of the customers leaving after the meal. So you can imagine how the never ending crowd come and go.

Taste wise it's okay.
Nothing super fantastic but it's nice.
I would definitely come back again if I'm nearby.

We also went to visit a room for rent in BU.
Looking for a place for the brother who will be working here soon.

Friday

It's movie day with Citibank's 'Buy 1 Free 1' promotion.

We watch Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle!
Super love ninja turtle.
They are so humorous.
They reminds me a lot of my childhood because I used to play ninja turtle video game with my brother when we were young.

Oh oh oh..
And I tried TGV's new Tom Yum Popcorn.
 Slurrrrpp!! I love it.
Actually it's just like chips where they coat the popcorns with flavoring powder.
But I like le!!

After the movie, we headed to our favourite food court 'Ming Tian' in Taman Megah for dinner.

Every night is a date night for us this week.
At least we make full use of our night time rather than just sit and watch tv at home.
I feel so productive and happy with him around.
It's what I've been dreaming of, to spend time with him every single day. :)
